The Real-time Advertising (RTA) Academy is an educational program for industry professionals to understand the language, tools and processes of the online advertising ecosystem.
Despite the rapid growth of programmatic, real-time advertising remains a mystery to many in media and marketing. In talking with agencies we discovered a need for always-on education, given the crowded market and confusion around advertising technology. The RTA Academy was borne out of this need as part of the Quantcast's annual "Quantathon" — an innovation hackathon — created to address the knowledge gap across media buying professionals.
The training program was initially delivered to a handful of agency partners and client advertisers in the US and UK and then began to scale. To date, the Real-time Advertising Academy has partnered with industry organizations IAB Europe, IAB UK, 4A's and ANAs and has trained over 3000 professionals at 200 events in 9 countries.
Recognizing the widespread benefit to the industry, the RTA Academy has since expanded the program to offer:
- An online course and certification featuring a self-paced curriculum that introduces the fundamentals of digital advertising in video modules, incorporating quizzes to test your knowledge.
- Live workshops of the RTA fundamentals course led by a programmatic expert either hosted in-house or at one of our regional roadshows.
